On Superhero Cats

Hello Friends,

What a week it has been! And no sign of letting up, it seems.

I hope you are finding ways to take care of yourself, to stop doomscrolling, and get some exercise or rest. I also hope you are finding ways to plug in and help those most in crisis or need right now.

We’ve all got to do both, don’t we? To take care of others and ourselves. It’s the only way we’ll make it through. It’s the only way our anyone ever really has.

Besides my daily walks, one thing that helped me make it through this past week was writing a short story about superhero cats. Not only was it fun, but these cats are activists—liberators—so there was satisfaction in writing about beings actually accomplishing some good.The story was funded by my amazing Patreon people and is called The Liberators.
