Glorious Skies

and the magic you need.

Hello friends,

I’ve really been enjoying the flowers and changeable skies lately. How about you? How is the weather where you are? What is growing?

What does your sky look like today?

Here’s a photo of the Oregon sky I took this week. Glorious, isn’t it? It really looks as though there’s a portal to another world in the center of those clouds.

This week, inspired by several conversations with clients, friends, and colleagues, I wrote an essay on not comparing ourselves to others and… not comparing ourselves even to our previous selves. That’s a tough one for many of us, myself included. We need to be honest about our lives and our process:

Of course our lives are built on the lessons of who we were. We live with skills we’ve acquired and knowledge we’ve incorporated, but that doesn’t mean we have to be bigger, better, versions of who we were five, ten, or twenty years ago.

It means we need to live as we are, who we are, right now, and that includes assessing our current conditions and our wants, needs, and desires.

You can read the rest of it, here and the essay includes six check points to help us with this assessment. I hope you find some useful food for thought.

I also wanted to let you know I’ve changed the pricing on all of my Teachable courses online and relaunched them as “go at your own pace, do on your own time.” The pandemic may be slowing in some places, but it is certainly not over—especially globally—and the effects will be with us for a long time. So I wanted to give folks something to do at home, at prices hopefully more people can afford. There are four courses up right now, at either $13 or $90. Enjoy.

Wishing you all the best. Thanks for being with me on this planet.
