This is one of my rare in-between regular musings newsletters! I keep these to a minimum.

I recently joined a terrific author group that does massive cross-promotion every quarter and wanted to let you in on it. Their September push is live for three days only—September 20-22. 

With 2400 free ebooks, a lot of sub-genres are represented here: Urban Fantasy, Contemporary, Young Adult, Historical, Fantasy, Paranormal, Mystery... but they all have a romantic twist! Some of the books are capital R Romance, but others are like my Witches of Portland series, which is Urban Fantasy with a strong romantic thread running through it.

Not usually a romance reader? I wasn’t until pretty recently, when I figured out some of the best storytellers today write in that, and related sub-genres. Books with strong romantic threads are generally character driven explorations of the human condition. And I love character driven stories!
