A Wish
and a Prayer
Hello friends,
Here’s a wish and a prayer I wrote last month that I’m still breathing into. I sent it to my Patreon folks this month (along with a couple of books) and thought you might like it, too:
A Wish, A Prayer
Expand my capacity to heal.
Expand my capacity to be of help.
Expand my capacity to rest.
Expand my capacity to work for the greater good.
Expand my compassion.
Expand the breath, rising in my lungs.
Expand my ability to love.
Expand my discernment.
Strengthen my ability to set boundaries.
Strengthen my ability to show up when needed.
Strengthen my ability to share what is good.
Strengthen my ability to listen well.
Strengthen my ability to speak the truth.
Strengthen my capacity to work with others.
Strengthen my heart.
Strengthen my mind.
Strengthen my gifts.
Soften my capacity to simply be,
In love with this world.
Right. Now.
I’ll close with a photo of two crows, hanging out on overhead wires, because the neighborhood crows are part of what I love about this world.
